Before Susie’s class, she told the students rules of learning. She asked the kids to pay attention to her order “5,4,3,2,1,Quiet!”. She also required that the student members in their learning group respected one another , listened to the teacher or classmates carefully and discussed in a soft voice . It’s sure that the rules will make the students study better. Learning rules are very important and necessary, I think so. Maybe you, too .

In Nancy’s class, before the end, Nancy let kids play a game called “I spy”. She showed a big colorful cloth, required the students to find out “something green, brown, yellow and so on”, I didn’t know why she arranged the game here .The game is not related to the lesson teaching materials. When Nancy met my teaching group and discussed her lesson, she answered my question. She said: “I finished the lesson. The students had nothing to do. So I let them played the game and relaxed. ”. Then I told her, in our English classes, teachers would choose the games according to the lesson language function and forms. Nancy pleasured and said: “Good idea! I will teacher better tomorrow.” Aha! We learned and made progress each other. Is that right?

After Adam’s class, Adam stood at the front door. He talked to the students simply one by one and wrote down something. Adam told us, he talked with every child, so he would know whether the child had grasped the language forms before he or she left the classroom . He often acts so in American classrooms. I have interest in it . I know, an American class is much smaller than a Chinese class. There are 20~30 students in an American classroom, and there are more than 40 students in a Chinese classroom. Teachers have not enough time to check and help the pupils in China. But now, I think I can divide my students into several groups, I can check different groups every day, so I can help them effectively .
